Sea Swimming on Brighton Beach

At Brighton Sports Company and our sister company Brighton Beach Bikes, we are passionate about sea swimming. Company owner Mark Hedger started sea swimming in Brighton in the early 90’s whilst being an early participant in triathlon, being a regular swimmer between the piers since. He has also spent time as a beach lifeguard and member of the Brighton & Hove City Council seafront office team so is very experienced in the local area and its conditions.

We love to spread the gospel of sea swimming and are a firm believer in its benefits to health, both physically and mentally. If you are coming to Brighton for a sea swim then feel free to drop us a line if you feel as though you need some advice or just a safe place to leave your belongings.

If you come to the beach and have forgotten your kit then no fear we usually have some stock of swimwear and beachwear in store from Aqua Sphere and a few other brands.
