Start on the east side of the pier.

Have lots of fun swimming around the pier.

Finish on the west side of the pier.

A great chance for family and friends to follow you round the whole swim course.

For 2025 we are pleased to announce that our chosen community project to support is the Seabirds swimming group once again. They do amazing work supporting mental health initiatives with open water swimming and encouraging more people to dip their toe in the water. A lot of the fantastic volunteers you see supporting the event on the day are part of the Seabirds group. The Seabirds host swimming groups and also have an online store where you can purchase ethically sourced products for swimming and the beach. Check them out at https://www.seabirdsltd.com/

N.B. Please read - All entrants must be over 18 at time of event and capable of swimming in the sea. People must realise that swimming in the sea is very different to swimming in a pool or lake. We strongly recommend that people have had experienced sea swimming no matter how little and are aware of waves and currents.

Adverse Weather Policy - PLEASE READ!

Please note that NO refunds can be given for this event in the advent of a rearranged date due to sea and weather conditions forcing a postponement. This is due to the very unpredictable nature of sea swimming events and the upfront costs that are involved, this is the only way that events like this one can be planned, so I hope that you understand this policy. The swim is planned for Saturday 12 July with a reserve date of Saturday 26 July. If the event can’t happen on either of these dates then we will look for a date in September that fits in with tides and safety team availability.

If the event can not be held in 2025 your entry will be carried over to the 2026 event, without exception. We will be in full communication in the lead up to all dates if we feel there is any chance of a postponement. The swim is planned to start at 11am, this may need to change due to weather and tides, full details will be confirmed in the lead up to the event.

We will always offer you a place in a future events but to confirm that no refunds can be made if the event has to change date. If you wish to pull out due to injury or other commitments please see our general cancellation policy.
